Remembrance Plaque Unveiling

East End Youth and Community Centre, George Street, North Shields.
The Mayor of North Tyneside, Norma Redfearn will unveil the plaque commemorating the loss of the 107 people killed in the bombing of Wilkinsons in 1941. The plaque will be sited on the Youth Club building. The plaque has been very generously donated by the Wilkinson family.
Folk are welcome to come along, see the plaque and grab a cup of tea. The timing is approximate as the unveiling is preceded by the club’s annual prize giving and AGM.
